Technique and passion, discipline and inspiration have enabled master distiller Roberto Castagner to give life to a pomace brandy without compromise. Not to much "top of the class" as in a class of its own (hence the name "fuoriclasse"), successfully adding that extra something to the traditional concept of grappa.
Fuoriclasse Barrique comes from a blend of grappas made by distilling Cabernet, Merlot and Pinot Nero separately. Its aging for 36 months in barriques gives this brandy the amber colour and smooth, round taste that are its distinguishing traits.
Fuoriclasse Barrique's overall aromatic profile is marked by great complexity and harmony. Fruity and spicy fragrances blend together in this warm, enveloping grappa that is both intriguing and enchanting.
